reel 43.24% engagedOldest and best Persian restaurant in Amsterdam This is the sort of mixed grill you can expect in Amsterdam's oldest and best Persian restaurant. We tried a number of their starters, ranging from dips to salads to an egg omelette with loads of greens, everything was packed full of flavour and freshness, delicious! We also tried their special mocktails, that rose one was very much my cup of tea, loved it! We then went straight into our mains. Firstly, can I just say this rice looked divine but actually tasted even better if you can imagine that, all about those cranberries and saffron! Now this lamb shank will live in my mind rent free for life, the meat was so tender, it literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth, loved the roast garlic that came with it as well. We also tried a traditional dish of lamb meat in tomato sauce with aubergine, and then for dessert, we had a saffron infused ice cream and baklava, this was an exceptional dining experience and I highly recommend you give @aardigepers.nl for a truly authentic Persian dining experience. #persianrestaurant #amsterdamrestaurant #persianfood #persiancuisine #foodblog #foodcontent #food #foodporn

Strategy summary
What's working, what to fix, and what to ship next.
TL;DR
Ramp posting cadence from 0.6/week to 4x benchmark to capture daily Amsterdam food searches, where top reels like post 18 explode to 3.4k likes with authentic reviews. Heritage claims and dish deep-dives crush it, but sparse activity leaks 80% of growth potential in a niche hungry for Persian visuals. Lean into review-style reels (posts 1,2,18) averaging 1.5k likes vs. recent 30-60 avg, while emotional memory hooks quietly build loyalty. Double down on evenings when locals plan dinners. Consistency turns this 27-year gem into IG's go-to Persian authority.
Working
5- Heritage reels claim oldest status for trust (posts 2,18).
- Question hooks spike comments (posts 6,7).
- Detailed reviews drive viral likes over 1k (posts 1,2,18).
- Emotional stories retain locals (posts 3,13).
- Grill close-ups hunger reliably (posts 11,25).
Risks
5- Fix low cadence killing momentum.
- Cut generic AI captions like post 27.
- Boost UGC from 0% to 20% share.
- Vary content beyond 70% food visuals.
- Shorten truncated captions like post 0.
Ship next
5- Replicate **post 18** format with detailed food walkthroughs 2x/week.
- Ramp to 4 posts/week on Fridays and Tuesdays at 6-8pm.
- Source UGC from diners crediting footage like post 3.
- Test bilingual hooks for Persian expats.
- Tag local foodies in every dish spotlight.
