Comment CTA Lead Gen
37.00%Posts that drive comments with a keyword trigger (LEAN, SUMMER, SPLIT, meals) to prompt a DM follow-up. These are the highest-engagement posts on the account because Instagram's algorithm rewards comment volume, and the format funnels warm leads directly to a sales conversation.

Client Transformation
23.00%Short-form story reels featuring a named client (Blaise, Heber, Caleb, Shaun, Kirk) with before-and-after context. Social proof is shown through specific outcomes like kilos lost and lifestyle detail, making the coach's method credible to the target audience of busy men over 30.

Shaun stopped 'thinking about it' and took ACTION. He's now a completely different person to who he was 12 months ago

Strategy summary
What's working, what to fix, and what to ship next.
TL;DR
The single strongest lever on this account is the keyword comment CTA format. Posts 25 and 26 pulled 152 and 75 comments respectively, dwarfing every other post in the sample, while posts relying purely on the follow CTA regularly land under 15 likes and zero comments. The comment-to-DM mechanic is clearly the conversion engine, and it is being underused relative to the volume of generic follow-bait reels that fill the feed.
The biggest leak is cadence and posting consistency. At 2.1 posts per week against a niche benchmark of 5, the account is leaving significant organic reach on the table. The older high performers like posts 7 (179 likes, 27 comments) and 5 (148 likes, 11 comments) show the audience and algorithm respond well when the content is right, but the current output is too thin and too reliant on filler reels with no engagement mechanic. Client transformation stories, which represent some of the most compelling proof on the account, appear in only around 5 of the 30 most recent posts.
The follow-CTA watermark used in nearly 10 of 30 posts is redundant noise. Cutting it and replacing those posts with comment-trigger or transformation content would immediately improve the signal-to-noise ratio and drive more comment volume the algorithm rewards.
Working
3- Keyword comment CTAs (LEAN, SUMMER, SPLIT, meals) reliably generate comment spikes, with posts 25 and 26 proving the format can drive 75 to 152 comments.
- Named client transformation stories with specific weight loss numbers create credible social proof and perform above average for the account.
- Practical tip reels with a clear save or comment prompt, like the lower-calorie beer list in post 16, attract saves and shares from the target audience.
Risks
4- Posting cadence of 2.1 per week is too low for this niche. Aim for at least 5 posts per week to compound organic reach.
- Generic follow-CTA reels with no engagement mechanic (posts 1, 9, 14, 24) produce near-zero engagement and should be cut or replaced.
- Comment CTA posts need to be spread more evenly across the week instead of clustering, which dilutes each post's engagement window.
- Transformation posts need more specific outcome framing in the first line of the caption to hook viewers before the scroll.
Ship next
5- Build a weekly content calendar that includes at least 2 comment-trigger CTA posts, 1 transformation story, 1 training or nutrition tip, and 1 pain-point carousel per week.
- A/B test different comment keywords on back-to-back weeks to identify which freebie offer (blueprint, supplement guide, meal plan) drives the highest comment-to-DM conversion.
- Retire the generic follow-CTA watermark from filler reels and replace the caption space with a short engagement question or comment trigger instead.
- Repost the top 3 performing older reels (posts 7, 5, 3) as remixed content with updated hooks to recapture reach without creating content from scratch.
- Test posting windows in the 6 to 9am block on Sundays and Wednesdays where the highest-engagement posts in this sample cluster, then lock in the two best-performing slots.
