A heartbreaking situation is unfolding in Ho Chi Minh City. Over 400 cats were rescued from a professional theft ring in an incredible operation by HCMC Police. The cats are now at a police station, alive but in urgent need of support, as the circumstences are really difficult. The scenes on the ground are emotional - many Vietnamese families are arriving at the station, searching desperately for their missing cats. It is absolutely heartbreaking to witness. The good news is that thanks to the generosity of so many people, food donations have been pouring in and are sufficient for now. But the next urgent need is medical supplies, and funding to get the most critical cases into proper veterinary clinics. Between 250 and 300 cats are still at the police station, in desperate need of help. Right now the situation is getting more and more organized, thanks to tirelessly working vets and volunteers. This has made it much easier to identify cats for the countless Vietnamese families who keep showing up in search of their pets. With the donations we have received so far, we have already achieved a lot and bought urgently needed supplies to treat the cats medically and keep them as safe as possible. Say hello to Nugget, the newest member of our crew! 🧡 This adorable little boy fell from a balcony and broke his spine, leaving him with no feeling in his back legs. After the accident, his owner wanted to get rid of him and with his life on the line, we stepped in to take a closer look at the situation. His medical challenges are serious: he is incontinent, and his hind legs are completely stiff and facing forward. But it quickly became clear that Nugget couldn't care less about his disability! He is a happy, playful, and affectionate little guy who absolutely deserves a chance. After a thorough checkup with our vet confirmed he isn't in any pain, we decided to welcome him into our care. It won't be an easy journey, and we will keep evaluating his condition as he grows. But as always, we're going to try our best to help him get stronger and find solutions to make his life as comfortable as possible. 🐾 ----- Hãy cùng chào đón Nugget, thành viên mới nhất của trạm chúng mình! 🧡 Bé mèo đáng yêu này bị ngã từ ban công xuống và bị gãy cột sống, khiến hai chân sau hoàn toàn mất cảm giác. Sau tai nạn, chủ cũ muốn bỏ rơi bé. Đứng trước ranh giới sinh tử của em, chúng mình đã phải trực tiếp tìm hiểu và đánh giá tình hình. Các vấn đề sức khỏe của Nugget thực sự rất lớn: bé bị mất kiểm soát vệ sinh và hai chân sau duỗi thẳng cứng về phía trước. Thế nhưng, cậu bé dường như chẳng hề bận tâm đến khuyết tật của mình! Nugget vẫn là một cậu bé vô cùng vui vẻ, hiếu động, quấn người và tuyệt đối xứng đáng có một cơ hội sống. Sau khi đưa đi kiểm tra kỹ lưỡng và được bác sĩ thú y xác nhận bé hoàn toàn không bị đau đớn, chúng mình đã quyết định đón em về chăm sóc. Đây chắc chắn không phải là một hành trình dễ dàng, và chúng mình sẽ tiếp tục theo dõi sát sao tình trạng của em. Như mọi khi, trạm sẽ nỗ lực hết sức để giúp Nugget ngày càng khỏe mạnh hơn và tìm ra những giải pháp phù hợp giúp cuộc sống của em trở nên dễ dàng hơn. 🐾 ----- #RescueKitten #OrangeCat #SpecialNeedsCat
