Naso Art Market 💫 How Forat Haider is Shaping a New Generation of Collecting in the Gulf “Part collector, part dealer, and increasingly a cultural advocate, Haider represents a generation that has come of age alongside the Gulf’s extraordinary cultural transformation. Unlike earlier collectors who often built collections in relative isolation, his generation has grown up amid museums, biennials, art fairs, foundations, and an increasingly sophisticated ecosystem of cultural production. Yet what distinguishes Haider is not simply his proximity to this growth, but the sense of responsibility with which he approaches it.” Read this special editorial on the up and coming art dealer doing important work! Naso Art Journal has identified him as one of the most thoughtful young voices helping shape the future of Arab art collecting.✨ — All imagery courtesy of @galleryforat. Behind the Show… On listening, curating, and the making of 24H with Sarah Al-Rashid @objectsobjectsobjectsobjects @sarahrashiid Some curators come up through institutions. Sarah came up through curiosity in the form of an an open call. She’s exactly the kind of next-generation curator Naso Art Journal aims to highlight and support on the journey ahead. 🌟 This spring, Sarah opened her first exhibition in Paris, ‘24H’. For anyone who had followed Objects×4, this exhibition felt less like a departure from what she had been doing than an expansion of it. The conversations had simply entered the room: over 1,200 submissions, selected anonymously, 139 images hung from midnight to midnight. One collective day, seen from everywhere at once. Full interview will be exclusively on the next print issue but you can read more on the link on our bio. 💫 “A single hour holds all of it at once, somewhere tender and somewhere unbearable at the same time.” — Sarah Al-Rashid — Images courtesy of Objectx4. Strategy summary

What's working, what to fix, and what to ship next.

TL;DR

Artist spotlights command 35% of feed and peak engagement, like post 14's 57 comments on Gulf collecting, proving discovery content resonates deeply with this art-savvy audience. Interviews follow closely at 20% share, fueling conversations via personal quotes in posts 17 and 21. Issue releases, though just 15%, spike hype with 44 comments on post 24's global rollout. Low cadence of 2.3 posts/week starves growth; scaling quality series unlocks potential. Signature hooks like 'Naso Artist Spotlight…' appear 6+ times, templating success across Thursdays and Saturdays. Prioritize these pillars, hit 4 posts/week, and watch comments climb as authority solidifies in MENA contemporary art.

Working

5
  • Artist spotlights drive top comments, post 14 at 57.
  • Issue announcements build buzz, post 24 at 44.
  • Consistent 'Naso [series]' hooks reused 15+ times.
  • Carousels dominate for depth, all top posts.
  • Thursdays yield highs like posts 6,9,14.

Risks

5
  • Cadence too low at 2.3 posts/week; double to benchmark.
  • Few Reels beyond post 9; add motion to spotlights.
  • Limited variety in low-engagement history posts.
  • No clear CTAs to website beyond bio link.
  • UGC absent; credit more artist shares.

Ship next

5
  • Post artist spotlights on Thursdays targeting **9-11am** for max reach.
  • Tease upcoming issues 1-2 weeks early with store lists.
  • Launch 1 Reel per week repurposing interview quotes.
  • Run monthly open calls to boost UGC and submissions.
  • Test 5 posts/week for 4 weeks tracking comments.
