reel 29.63% engagedWorking from home and creating content is such a gift, but it can also be surprisingly lonely. Some days the ideas flow. Other days you’re staring at a blank screen wondering if you’ll ever have another creative thought again. Throw in an occasional negative comment or a reel that completely flops, and it can be easy to feel discouraged. That’s why I’m so grateful for these women. Once a month, we put down our laptops, grab lunch at a local restaurant, and spend a few hours pouring into each other. We brainstorm content ideas, share strategies, swap brand contacts, celebrate wins, talk through the hard days, and remind each other why we started. There’s never any competition, just a group of women who genuinely want to see each other succeed. I always leave feeling inspired, encouraged, and excited to create again. This month, we met at @beirutbitez a newly opened casual Lebanese bowl spot in Dublin and I think we may have ordered the entire menu. We enjoyed their build-your-own bowls, hummus, grape leaves, falafel, and even ended with tiramisu. Every single bite was incredible. Everything is made fresh from scratch using family recipes, and you can absolutely taste the quality. @whatshouldwedotoday_cbus @cbusfoodie614 @sweetlyseeley @wearlovewanders (hosted) #wahm #contentcreator #contentcreatorlife #communityovercompetition #mastermind

Strategy summary
What's working, what to fix, and what to ship next.
TL;DR
UGC from Columbus-area food bloggers is the single biggest growth engine this account has. The top five posts by combined likes and comments are all third-party creator visits, with post 26 at 213 likes and 122 comments, post 27 at 220 likes and 79 comments, and post 14 at 184 likes and 85 comments far outperforming any brand-owned content. The account's own posts, such as post 3 ('Our food. Come try.') and post 13 ('Week 5 part 2!'), produce almost no engagement, which is the largest leak in the feed right now.
At 2.3 posts per week, the account is posting at roughly half the recommended cadence for a new fast-casual restaurant. This is compounded by the fact that most of the owned content lacks a clear hook or storytelling angle. The brand has a genuinely compelling story, including halal certification, family recipes, Lebanese cultural hospitality, and a fresh bowl concept in a market that knows Chipotle. None of those levers are being pulled consistently in owned posts.
The clearest path forward is to systematize the influencer pipeline while upgrading owned content quality. Thursdays and Sundays between 11am and 1pm show the strongest engagement clusters in this dataset. Doubling posting cadence to 4 per week, mixing two owned reels with two creator reposts, would be a realistic and high-leverage first step.
Working
4- UGC from local food bloggers consistently drives the highest likes and comments, especially carousel formats like posts 26 and 25.
- Posts that name specific dishes, family recipes, or unique ingredients (falafel, tiramisu, pickled veggies) generate more saves and comments than generic calls to action.
- The halal angle in post 7 resonates with an underserved audience segment and should be repeated more often.
- Blogger group visits like post 27 create multi-creator amplification and organic reach beyond the account's 1009 followers.
Risks
5- Brand-owned captions like post 3 and post 13 are too vague to earn engagement. Every owned post needs a hook in the first line.
- Posting cadence is too low at 2.3 per week for a restaurant that opened less than three months ago and needs sustained awareness.
- Several high-performing UGC posts show negative like counts, suggesting technical issues with post setup that need to be fixed immediately.
- The account has no consistent call to action format. Posts end differently every time, which reduces link clicks and foot traffic conversion.
- Cultural storytelling posts like post 11 are rare but perform well. These should appear at least twice a month.
Ship next
5- Build a standing influencer invite program: host two new Columbus-area creators per month and repost their content within 48 hours of their publish date.
- Write a swipe file of five owned-post hooks based on the POV and sign-to-visit patterns that already work, and rotate them for every brand post.
- Fix the negative likes bug on posts 2, 6, and 9 by reviewing the post setup or contacting Instagram support.
- Increase posting to 4 times per week: two owned reels and two UGC reposts, scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays in the 11am to 1pm window.
- Create a monthly cultural education post that explains one Lebanese ingredient or dish in plain English to build brand authority and repeat visits.
