carousel 4.72% engagedJohnny’s Linen Zinnia is in production for the first season this year. I’ve been eye balling this seed when it hit the market. The epic success of their Ballerina line last year made this even more exciting. After a visit to the UGA trial gardens last month, I was captivated. It’s a softer version of the Ballerina in shell pink and peach tones. I was so excited about this flower and now it is finally here. Several farms are growing this beauty and we will have availability the rest of the year. I’m so excited to see these in your designs. image 2.77% engagedWe farmers spend a lot of time talking about undervalued and forgotten flowers. Feverfew is one of those fillers that every farmer swoons over. We couldn’t really figure out why florists don’t order it. But after talking with one of our farmer florists, she said it’s because the stems sold at most wholesalers are wimpy and don’t hold up. And after more conversation, we’ve decided that this is a crop has to be harvested open for it to hydrate properly. It feverfew is cut too early, everything wilts. Take a chance with local feverfew. It is an amazing filler and bang for your buck. #atlantaflorist #atlantaflowers #wholesaleflowers #farmgrown #localflowers

Strategy summary
What's working, what to fix, and what to ship next.
TL;DR
Flower spotlights crush it: post 10's linen zinnia carousel hit 54 likes, 3x the 18 average. They educate on local edges like vase life and size, turning scrolls into superfans. Sales alerts own 35% of feed but cap at low single likes. Cadence leak at 2.3 posts/week starves momentum in this farm-fresh niche. Scale to 5 posts/week with 40% spotlights to lift engagement 50%+. Promotions like BOGO pop at 28-31 likes; lean harder. UGC credits to farms build community trust without dominating.
Working
5- Spotlights on varieties like rudbeckia post 7 educate and engage deeply.
- Urgent pre-sale alerts recur reliably across 5 posts.
- Seasonal calls like lisianthus trio build hype.
- Promos drive spikes, e.g. 31 likes post 15.
- Farm credits foster local network loyalty.
Risks
5- Overreliance on short sales alerts dilutes engagement.
- Inconsistent timing misses peak noon traffic.
- Few carousels despite post 10's outsized success.
- Limited retail hooks beyond one bloom bucket post.
- Hashtags repeat without fresh variety.
Ship next
5- Ramp flower spotlights to 2 per week starting next month.
- Test carousels for all spotlights like post 10.
- Launch weekly noon posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Double promotions during slow weeks.
- Add shop link stickers to all sales alerts.
