Top-performing posts

The three posts pulling the most engagement in the last 90 days.

02

Content pillars

AI-clustered themes the account posts about, with example posts pulled live from Instagram.

  1. 01

    Stock Picks & Rankings

    27.00%

Reel-format takes ranking or swapping stocks based on risk-reward analysis. These posts drive the highest organic engagement because they invite debate and carry a concrete opinion viewers can agree or disagree with.

  2. 02

    App Waitlist CTA

    40.00%

Short reels built around a single keyword comment prompt that funnels viewers to the Bullingo app waitlist. They dominate the feed by volume but generate mostly comment-farming activity rather than genuine discussion.

  3. 03

    Insider & Congress Trades

    13.00%

Sponsored or affiliated reels powered by @insidersignalapp alerts, prompting viewers to comment a keyword for a tracker app link. Engagement is moderate and the sponsorship framing limits organic reach.

  4. 04

    Research Breakdowns

    10.00%

Reels teasing a full stock or sector research report, with a keyword comment CTA to receive the breakdown. Performs better than pure waitlist posts because there is an immediate value exchange.

  5. 05

    Mindset & Engagement Bait

    10.00%

Very short reels with a rhetorical question or motivational angle tied loosely to investing. Low production but occasionally generates strong save and share behavior when the hook resonates emotionally.

Strategy summary

What's working, what to fix, and what to ship next.

TL;DR

The single biggest lever for @ale.invests is producing more opinion-led stock content. Post 4 (490 likes, 210 comments) and post 15 (82 likes, 30 comments) prove that when the account takes a real, debatable position on a stock, engagement explodes relative to its 6,838-follower base. The account currently publishes at 2.3 posts per week, well below the 4-per-week benchmark for the investing niche, and nearly 40% of all posts are waitlist CTAs that contribute almost no reach or saves.

The biggest leak is overuse of the "Comment bull" format. It has appeared in at least 17 posts, which trains the algorithm to treat this account as a comment-farming page rather than a discovery account. Several of those posts show -1 likes, a clear signal of suppressed distribution. The insider-signal sponsored posts (posts 12, 20, 23, 25) perform modestly but dilute the brand by shifting focus away from Ale's own analysis.

The fix is a content ratio reset. For every one waitlist CTA, publish two or three posts that deliver a real take, a stock ranking, or a sector breakdown with no keyword gate.

Working

3
  • Opinion-led stock swap or ranking reels drive the most engagement, as posts 3, 4, and 5 show.
  • Research breakdown CTAs using a specific keyword outperform generic waitlist prompts when paired with a clear value promise.
  • Short rhetorical questions like post 4 create immediate debate and pull in viewers who do not already follow the account.

Risks

5
  • Cut waitlist-only posts to no more than one per week. They suppress reach and offer no standalone value to new viewers.
  • Stop posting multiple near-identical "Comment bull" reels in the same week. Repetition is training the algorithm against you.
  • Add on-screen text or data visuals to every stock take. Reels that explain rankings without visible data underperform.
  • Reduce sponsored @insidersignalapp posts to one per month so they do not dilute the personal analysis brand.
  • Increase posting cadence from 2.3 to at least 4 posts per week to stay competitive in the investing niche.

Ship next

5
  • Publish one opinionated stock ranking reel per week with a clear on-screen breakdown, no keyword gate required to consume the content.
  • A/B test two versions of the waitlist CTA: one with a keyword comment and one with a direct bio link, then track which drives more app signups.
  • Batch-film five to six reels in one session to hit 4 posts per week without burning out on production.
  • Build a weekly "what I'm watching this week" format (see post 29) into a consistent series with a recognizable thumbnail template.
  • Use the high-performing posts 4 and 15 as creative briefs: extract the exact hook structure and replicate it with new stock topics every two weeks.
